Happy New Year from Penelahpe's and Chef Leslie and a preview to our events, services and edibles

Happy New to all!!!! I have missed our time together but I Chef Leslie am back. I gave birth to a lovely baby boy on December 14, 2012. Now I am nursing and planning... oh yes big plans.
Before the winter is over Penelahpes will host a photo shoot for our gift bags and baskets.. we want to be your choice to pamper you and your loved ones in the up and coming holidays. We will be inviting clients to participate.
In the the Spring Penelahpe's in conjunction with IGLOOtew Studios (my husband's company)will be hosting a launch party to introduce MIDNIGHT Run food services...it is similar to Friday Night Dinner but food delivery late night to music studios( too many music industry folks not making healthy food choices) we will help you eat good through the night.

Good evening and good day for all those reading this blog. I always appreciate the new customers the have joined the ranks of Penelahpes' satisfied customers. We were so busy last week, we had not a free hand to take pictures!!!! One good thing our customers responded on facebook and I even got a few early morning phone calls about Friday Night's Dinner.

This week is particularly challenging in trying to figure out what we can do that is a simple meal with a lot of flavors. Not even gourmet just real real good comfort foods. So even as I write this the menu is still being cultivated in my mind. With all the noise in the coffee shop where I type I look over my sketched out my shopping list, and the lists gets longer and vendors are added until my paper is filled. Then i sleep on it. Well not tonight....okay I think I got it!!

Greetings to all in the land eating great food, shoppoing a good markets and cookinfg for family and friends. BUt wait you dont have to cook on Fridays. During the past week my website was relaunched and it is fabulous http://www.penelahpes.com/. Over the last couple of weeks deliveries have picked up to the point we have to add a 2$ delivery charge. Thank you food lovers in the Metro ATL area.

Up and coming events: meals by the month for superstars on the run.. dinner on Fridays delivery or pick up as early as 5pm with a few more perks

This weeks menu is a spin on confort food. This is a a dish that my children love it and never leave left overs. The dessert is something new so I am excited.

I promise next week this blog will have a new face for your eyes to enjoy. This is one of my staff's favorite meals to prepare. This lasagna has evolved over the passed years in Penelahpe's kitchen now it is packed with love, vegetables and gourmet ingredients you will not find in a stouffers. Penelahpe's began delivery wonderful healthy lunches around the Decatur and Atlanta area, about four years ago, repectfully.

Well we are at it again!

Calling all families, groups of friends, singles, barbershops, beauty shops, tattoo shops,car washes, clothing boutiques, my brothers and sisters in the lab, new moms and dads..... Penelahpe's would like to FED YOU!

A lot of people's Fridays are crazy and after all it also the end of the week,who wants to cook, better yet who wants fast food to slow you down at the beginning of the weekend?

Penelahpe's has the solution: Friday night Dinner just view menu and pay on this, http://www.penelahpes.com/ blog, Facebook, and call in (4046459233) or email orders to zinga90@yahoo.com. Dinners will be ready at 5 for pick up and delivery will begin at 7pm. Minimum delivery two plates, homemade drinks will be available. Delivery stops at 9pm, unless otherwise convinced.

We begin May 14th. Between now and then send me your Penelahpe's favorites meals. But for starters:

Curry chicken burgers stuffed with ginger and basil, served on wheat bun, sweet potato home fries, salad and a sampling of "BombShell Blondies"

or

BBQ tofu, spicy marinated kale, roasted garlic coconut rice, and bomb shell blondies
